Recommended moves

Reviews in Chessbook can get overwhelming, if you've added hundreds of moves very quickly or haven't come back in a while. We created the "Recommended moves" feature to address that.
The recommended moves practice option looks at your due moves, then picks a smaller batch based on your daily practice goal. The default is 10 moves, but you can change this in settings.
It tries to prioritize common positions, so that as you're learning, you're ready for the positions you're actually most likely to see, instead of spending all your review time on unlikely sidelines.
It also tries to keep practice sessions reasonably coherent, so you're not jumping around all over your repertoire. These goals are somewhat at odds with each other, so it won't be perfect, but it usually finds a good trade-off between them.
If you do one or two sessions of this per day, the number of moves due will go down over time, and you'll probably find yourself comfortable with the repertoire before you've even got around to the rarer lines, especially for imported courses and repertoires.
