Measuring repertoire completion

One of the core measures in Chessbook is your repertoire completion. This is based around the 1 in X games measurement, so if you're not familiar with that yet, it would be good to read up on what that means.

To have a "complete" repertoire in Chessbook, you need to cover every position that is expected to occur at least 1 in N games, where N is your coverage goal setting.

If your coverage goal is 1 in 200 games, then Chessbook is asking: "Do you have a response ready for every position you're likely to see at least once every 200 games?"

We estimate how many moves you'll have to add to achieve that, so we can show progress as you build your repertoire. It's more of an estimate than anything, so you may jump up a few percentage points every now and then, or stay at 99% for a few moves longer than expected.
